Seasons
The initial design concept for F06 was spawned through analysis of the past, particularly in relation to the traditional land owners and how the Noongar people moved throughout the greater Perth region each season to survive. Through research it was discovered that three conditions determined their survival: CLIMATE, SPRAWL (movement) and EDUCATION.
CLIMATE: determined when certain flowers or fish would appear, signalling a change in season which were the means by which the Noongar people survived.
SPRAWL (movement): as the seasons changed the Noongar people would move throughout the land for better shelter, food, and spiritual reasons.
EDUCATION: teaching the young generation about how to move and adapt to the changing.
