"In the past, I hadn't recognised building 201 as the architecture building I would be attending for the next 5 years of my life. I went to Curtin regularly in 2016 to study for my WACE exams. I had walked past building 201 so many times that I eventually stopped puffing when I walked from my car to the library. It was Orientation Week that I first really observed building 201. I was very hesitant to enter as I already had knowledge of how confusing it was to get around the classrooms. I remember several posters placed on the walls of the blue carpet room. Looking at the detail in them I knew that this wasn't going to be an easy degree for me. Converse were the first shoes I had worn on campus."
